We’ve all been there… You receive another bill in the mail and as soon as it’s ripped open your stomach drops. “How can the electric be this high!?” you internally think. Urgh. It seems nearly impossible to get ahead.
Such was the case for me until I began planning for my financial future and started working with BillCutterz, a FREE service that helps negotiate bills down for you. (Psst, this is not a sponsored post, I just really want to share this tool)
I know, I know, it sounds too good to be true. But, I’ve used this free service more than once (I believe I found it in the Penny Pincher) and it’s proven to be a huge help in keeping recurring bills low. Because of my success with the platform, I wanted to share more information about how to utilize BillCutterz in this article.
How does BillCutterz work?
The company website says:
Do you have a cell phone? Internet? What about cable or satellite TV? Just like most of us, you’re probably paying an arm and a leg for those services. That’s why BillCutterz was founded in 2009 – to save you money on your monthly bills! Their team of savings experts will call your service providers and get you lower rates on your bills.
How does BillCutterz benefit?
“As much as we would love to offer our service for free, we still have to keep the lights on. We split any savings we obtain with you – if we save you $100, you get $50 and we get $50. If we don’t save you any money, there is no charge to you, whatsoever.”

How to get started:
Signup and send BillCutterz your bills
Believe it or not, getting started with BillCutterz is easy. Just send them your bills and they’ll get right on it. BillCutterz can save you money on a variety of bills including, but not limited to:
- Cell Phone
- Cable & Satellite TV
- Internet
- Landline Telephone
- Bundles (Cable / Phone / Internet)
- Alarm & Security
- Satellite Radio
- Electricity (in some states)
- Plus many more
The next step…
According to their website, BillCutterz will take that information and negotiate FOR you. Their expert negotiators analyze your bills to make sure you are on the best plan and keep track of service provider promotions and discounts, so you know you’re always paying the best rates.
Of course, you can do this yourself (it’s true – most people just don’t!). However, the average individual is either bad at dealing with confrontation and negotiating for themselves or doesn’t want to deal with the trouble. In my experience, it’s helpful to take advantage of mutually beneficial opportunities.
Expect big savings!
Once your bills have been negotiated, expect to see those savings every month. That’s it!
Let me know your thoughts in the comments section about this tool and whether or not you’ll be using it.
Cheers,
